Africa Legal is excited to announce the evolution of the General Counsel Forum, which will now operate as an independent brand after five successful years of collaboration with Mining Indaba. This change reflects Africa Legal’s commitment to supporting the mining legal community’s evolving needs in a dynamic business landscape.
Rebranding as the GC Forum Extractives we will focus on the intersection of mining and energy sectors, emphasising collaboration, government relations, and innovative legal frameworks for sustainable growth. Key topics include renewable energy integration, complex mining agreements, public-private partnerships, and the growing role of legal expertise on corporate boards, with industry experts offering insights through panels, sessions, and networking opportunities.

Parking directions via the N1 off-ramp

As you reach the N1 off – ramp, next to the CTICC, continue straight until you reach Helen Suzman Boulevard and take a right. Continue until you get a turn-off on the right onto Portswood road. Take the turnoff and continue straight.

You will see the Protea Hotel Breakwater Lodge on your right; continue past until you see a turn off into Portswood Hotel. Turn right into the underground parking lot.

The delegates need to follow the GSB signage to the allocated parking. These bays are on a first come first served basis. Follow signage to the conference centre.
